Details: Trump confirmed his plan to establish U.S. control over Gaza and relocate Palestinians from the enclave during a joint press conference with the King of Jordan on Tuesday.

Abdullah II did not reject Trump's idea but advised to "not jump ahead" and noted that alternative proposals will soon emerge.

Later, Abdullah II stated on social media that there is a "unified Arab position" against the relocation of Palestinians.

Direct quote from Abdullah II: "Restoring Gaza without relocating Palestinians and addressing the dire humanitarian situation should be a priority for all."

Details: At the same time, Abdullah described the negotiations with Trump as "constructive."

The publication notes that Trump's plan entails Jordan and Egypt accepting millions of new Palestinian refugees - an idea that both countries oppose.

What preceded: Earlier, Trump stated that the U.S. would "take control" of the Gaza Strip, after previously declaring that he does not believe Palestinians in Gaza have a sustainable future.
