Details: The Norwegian Parliament agreed at the end of last year to allocate a total of 35 billion Norwegian kroner ($3.12 billion) for military and civilian support to Ukraine in 2025.

"I can say today that we will return to Parliament soon with a proposal to increase support," Støre stated in the interview.

The Prime Minister of Norway is traveling to London tomorrow, among other things, to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky. He will also meet with other European leaders who are arriving for the summit convened by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Støre noted that discussions in London will include, among other topics, relations with the new administration of the United States.

Discuss how they should relate to the new administration in the United States.

"Yesterday I heard that he (Volodymyr Zelensky – Ed.) still emphasizes the importance of relations with the United States and wants to find a way forward," said the Norwegian Prime Minister.

He described it as "absolutely necessary" for the United States, along with Europe, to contribute to achieving lasting peace in Ukraine.

In response to a question about how to trust the U.S. after the scandal in the White House on Friday, Støre said that immediate conclusions should not be drawn from this.

"We had five or six weeks with Trump as president. I think we still need to work on understanding the implications of the style, games, and words they use," shared the Norwegian Prime Minister.

According to media reports, President Zelensky has already arrived in Britain, where he came for a summit with European leaders that will take place on Sunday.
