Details: On Friday evening, Fico announced that he would like to meet with Zelensky on Tuesday in Davos, where both will participate in the World Economic Forum.
Zelensky stated that he cannot make any plans with Fico, as the Slovak leader "might go to Davos but end up somewhere in Sochi."
"We don't know who is buying his tickets, as he constantly misses his destinations," the Ukrainian president remarked.
Recall: On January 13, Fico signed an open letter to Zelensky, inviting the Ukrainian leader to meet to address issues related to gas transit.
Fico mentioned that he has no "intention of further escalating tensions" and wants to fully focus on resolving the situation concerning the suspension of transit.
In response to the Slovak Prime Minister's invitation, Zelensky suggested that he come to Kyiv instead. Fico described this invitation as "childish."
