Well, yes, Fki is certainly good; they do intercept, no doubt about that.
But why did they perform better this time than last time?
Purely subjectively:
- some personnel changes have obviously been beneficial (I don't know if this was planned or if the changes were made after the "resonance of criticism");
- the number of air defense systems has increased, which is quite noticeable in certain areas/objects;
- some facilities have been significantly fortified (this means that even if something hits or debris falls, it won't cause substantial damage to the facility); others—it's hard to tell if anything was done at all (without details);
- the fighters and pilots have really put in a lot of effort.
And yes, once again I'm convinced—there is certainly no alternative to Western air defense systems.
Patriots are powerful.
