Some personal reflections on the document dubbed "Victory Plan" and on expert comments like "nothing new."
I’m not sure what’s in its classified section, but the five points in its public part are indeed what we already see and understand.
So why write it then? In my opinion, it was crafted specifically for the allies.
With the understanding that its main points will be rejected.
But this is a plan. Therefore, if you dismiss individual points, you are excluding an entire victory plan. This means you don’t want Ukraine to win, right?
By proposing this Plan, Kyiv is compelling allies to honestly declare whether they want Ukraine to win or not.
Now, as Russia pushes forward in all directions, we need a truthful answer.
This summer, a respected NATO military leader admitted in a meeting with experts that he fears a Russian defeat. He suggested that they would then resort to nuclear weapons.
After that, I asked him: "With all due respect, Admiral, does your statement imply that you fear a Ukrainian victory?"
He had no response for me.
