I try to avoid writing about hot topics, but I couldn't resist. Regarding Neyman's message yesterday after his incident in the Toronto business center, where he urges investment in real estate outside of Ukraine.
He received backlash from everyone for the inappropriateness of his advertisement, for dancing on graves. Rightfully so.
However, many say, "essentially he is right."
These are people I respect.
So, I will respond. This post is not from an economist or an investment banker; it's the opinion of a banana trader. He claims his bananas are the ripest, just take them and eat.
Investing abroad yields little profit. Moreover, anyone can get burned in a new market due to a lack of knowledge about the rules and peculiarities.
The risks in Ukraine are significantly higher. This is a fact. But the potential returns are entirely different. Yes, our bananas are green. But they are cheap, particularly right now. Will they ripen? Will their price increase? Will they turn black?
No one knows.
However, varying returns with differing risks is a normal market phenomenon.
Just like in life.
Some chase after a princess, while others settle for those who reliably provide once a week and on holidays.
Apologies for explaining with bananas, but I couldn't help myself.
Wishing everyone a quiet Saturday.
