I try not to comment on domestic Ukrainian politics, but the case with Boyko is quite straightforward, and yet it has sparked a flood of nonsense.
Since Boyko recorded a video on TikTok, it means elections are on the horizon.
If you think our politicians possess some secret knowledge, it's both true and not true at the same time. As someone who, in years past, was privy to a lot of insider information, although I tried not to spread it, I can say that even leading politicians have knowledge about a heap of unknown nonsense. Moreover, the secret knowledge of different politicians almost always contradicts each other.
More often than not, this nonsense is rooted in the professional illness of those who have been in this mix for at least a few years — paranoia. Everyone believes that others are plotting against them. If the trees are swaying, let's think about who benefits from it.
In other words, 90% of secret knowledge is either paranoid nonsense, or useless internal chatter, or outright lies that they want to sell to you, the trusting readers. There are interesting stories that come up, but those are usually requested not to be made public.
No one knows when the elections will take place, because they will occur after the state of martial law is lifted, and who knows when that will be.
Politicians always keep elections in mind, but sometimes they begin to prepare for them more intensively. Right now, due to the Trump effect, there has been a surge of activity. But it’s not secret knowledge that the war will soon end; it’s more like “let’s do something, or what if it ends and we’re not ready.”
In my humble opinion, riding this wave and having read about the successes of the Romanian TikToker, Boyko’s PR team decided to test the waters. And what came out is what we have — an online uproar over the regurgitated, nonsensical drivel.
What does Boyko face? Nothing.
Boyko and his associates are the most convenient partners for the "servants" in their undeclared coalition.
The "servants" themselves have long lacked the votes, even though there are officially more than 226 deputies in the faction. They even openly tolerate the scum from their faction to avoid falling below the waterline.
And the OPZZh members understand that they can be easily dismissed, and no one will shed a tear. Therefore, they happily cooperate with the authorities, regularly providing the missing votes.
Other factions are more stubborn, making them harder to engage. Thus, it turns out that people have found each other and don't want to lose that connection.
In summary — Boyko visited the SBU, this visit was photographed and shared online. That’s all there is to it.
UPD. Well, they might kick him out of the committee, but I don’t even know how Boyko will cope with that :)
