There's no need to fear Trump’s psychopathic statements; he uses a businessman’s rhetoric to eventually reach a compromise, says Dmitry Fedorenko.

An IT and media entrepreneur commented on the statements made by Donald Trump.
Не стоит опасаться психопатических заявлений: Трамп использует риторику бизнесмена для достижения компромисса, считает Дмитрий Федоренко.

"Demand the impossible to achieve the necessary. Ask for as much as you need to ensure you get nothing." This wisdom was imparted to me by a criminal authority early in my entrepreneurial career.

Currently, the atmosphere is rife with panic over the grandiose, psychopathic statements made by Trump during his major press conference. They may not resonate well with everyone, but how sweet the compromise will be when both sides converge on less radical positions. Yes, this is the rhetoric of a businessman, not a politician. Yet, Trump takes pride in being a "master of deal-making."

In summary:

1. China has been warned that shipping costs to the US will dramatically increase.

2. The war in Ukraine will continue. Ukraine will receive at least six months of military support from the US.

3. Canada and Mexico need to tighten their belts to balance trade with the US. Trump is awaiting proposals.

4. Defense budgets in Western bloc countries will be raised to a compromise level of 3%.

5. The US will secure favorable terms for a military concession from Denmark in Greenland.

It seems he has a plan in place; otherwise, why this pre-inaugural teaser?
