Hollywood actress Blake Lively has amended her lawsuit, in which she accuses her co-star from the film "Throw It If You Love" Justin Baldoni of inappropriate behavior on set. This was revealed in an updated legal complaint filed on February 20. The Daily Mail reports this, as noted by UNN.
Details
On May 24, 2024, the actress sent a message to her friend stating that she had "cried" after work, as indicated in the amended complaint submitted by her lawyers on Tuesday evening.
In the text, Lively writes: "I was going to invite you to the set tomorrow. These people. Wow... Today they seemed to have lost their minds. Both of them," referring to 41-year-old Baldoni, who was her co-star and director, and Wayfarer Studios co-producer Jamie Hita.
Lively then refers to Baldoni, who she also accused of asking a rude question about her sex life with Ryan Reynolds, and Hita as "jerks," adding: "Keep your hormones to yourself. That's not mine. I don't need that."
"I don't want that kind of look from you, words, statements, or video of your naked wife," referring to a video that Hita showed her of his wife Natasha giving birth, which Lively initially "considered" as porn.
According to the lawsuit, on May 26, 2023, her complaints about "inappropriate behavior" were communicated to Baldoni, Hita, and Sony head Andrew Janetti.
On Tuesday evening, Lively made changes to her lawsuit against Baldoni, which surprised many, as one of the allegations is that the latter asked a very rude question.
According to the actress, Baldoni attempted to persuade her to fake an orgasm on camera. Lively claims that the director insisted on a scene where the characters experience simultaneous orgasms, justifying it with his own experience.
The legal document also states: "Baldoni then persistently asked Lively whether she and her husband achieve orgasms simultaneously during intercourse, which Lively found invasive and refused to discuss."
In response, Baldoni's attorney criticized the new accusations, stating that they are unfounded. At the same time, two actresses from the film are reportedly ready to testify in support of Lively.
Reminder
Justin Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, hinted at the significant financial pressure that the prolonged lawsuit with actress Blake Lively is placing on his client's career.
Specifically, he stated that Baldoni has lost a considerable number of professional opportunities due to the lawsuit. He did not disclose details about future projects but emphasized the importance of professional recovery for the actor.
