Jessica Alba has split from her husband after 16 years of marriage.

Jessica Alba has separated from her husband, producer Cash Warren, with whom she spent 16 years, reports UNN citing Sky News.

The "Fantastic Four" star shared this news in an Instagram post, informing her 20.6 million followers that she is on a "journey of self-realization."

She mentioned that their three children remain a priority as they "enter a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."

The American actress wrote: "I have been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years - both individually and in partnership with Cash."

"I am proud of how we have grown as a couple in our marriage over the last 20 years, and now it is time for us to enter a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals. We move forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other, and we will always remain a family," she stated.

Alba concluded her statement by saying that their three children - Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7 - "remain our top priority."

Alba married the film producer in 2008 after they met on the set of the superhero film "Fantastic Four."

She met Warren in 2004 while playing the role of invisible superhero Sue Storm in "Fantastic Four," where he served as assistant director to Tim Story.
