On Wednesday, February 19, during his speech at the Summit, President of the United States Donald Trump expressed hope that he would achieve peace, be remembered as a peacemaker, and that "a golden age for America is coming."
Trump pointed to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, warning that "World War III" is "not that far away," but asserted that his presidency will prevent its occurrence.
"No one benefits from World War III, and you are not that far from it, I’ll tell you right now, you are not that far," the U.S. president added.
Additionally, Trump claimed that if the administration of former President Joe Biden were to remain in power for another term, its policies would lead to the start of World War III within a year.
The American leader thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting the summit held on Wednesday, recognizing its role in facilitating negotiations between the U.S. and Russia this week, calling it "a significant step."
