The group Ziferblat won the national selection for Ukraine's representative song for the international competition "Eurovision-2025" with their song "Bird Of Pray," which will take place in May in Switzerland. This was reported by UNN citing Public.

Details

As in previous years, the winner of the selection was determined by the voting results of the jury (half of the points) and the audience (the other half of the points). Audience voting was conducted both via SMS messages and through the "Dія" app. According to the data from "Dія," nearly 362.4 thousand citizens voted using the latter method.

Notably, the national selection with the contestants' performances was broadcasted as a recording rather than live. The performances were accompanied by sign language interpretation. The announcement of the competition results, however, took place live.

The show was hosted by Timur Miroshnichenko, Maria Efrosinina, and stand-up comedian Vasily Baidak. The jury included last year's winner of "Eurovision-2016," Jamala, and the leader of the rock band "Bez Obmezhen," Sergey Tanchynets.

When is "Eurovision-2025"

The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Swiss city of Basel in 2025, as Nemo won in Sweden with the song The Code.
