An expert believes that without the U.S. and Trump, the European presence at the border will yield no significant results.

As the expert emphasizes, Trump is focused on reaching an agreement with Putin to end the war, and Europe cannot sustain its continuation without the U.S. He explains that if the war persists, it will only escalate, as is the nature of war, and Europeans cannot handle it without American support.

“One of the Western experts stated that without the United States, without American forces, no European contingent will be able to guarantee security along a 1000 km front in Ukraine,” notes Vadim Karasev.

Furthermore, the expert recounts that just recently, British Defense Minister John Healey visited Kyiv and announced that they are ready to send military instructors. However, he reminds us that this has already happened in 2014 and 2015 at the Yavoriv training ground; it's merely palliative assistance, nothing more.

“I don’t know if Macron used a fabricated excuse or just a pretext, but he has washed his hands of participating in the discussion of his own initiative regarding the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine. It’s not happening. He’s dealing with some natural disaster in his overseas departments, which are former colonies, and instead, he has appointed Scholz in his place. Well, that says something too. So now everyone is waiting for January 20, when Trump takes office, and then it will begin,” concludes Vadim Karasev.
