Dmitry Razumkov shared his thoughts on which is preferable: Istanbul in 2022 or Saudi Arabia today.

“The fact that we are not talking about the borders of 1991 does not mean that we have lost territory and forgotten. Today, we do not have the military capability to reclaim these territories. I would like to hear from the president what has changed in his rhetoric? I remember the years 2022, 2023, 2024 – exclusively the borders of 1991. If something has changed, a responsible politician should come forward and say it. If we are discussing the borders of 2022, then the question arises (I would be more cautious about throwing around phrases from the Office), why not the spring of 2022 when the conditions were the same?” - reflects Dmitry Razumkov.

According to him, the same conditions and boundaries existed in Istanbul, which Arahamiya confirmed. Moreover, the politician notes that at that time, there was a possibility to negotiate further on NATO, so that Article 5 would apply only to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

“Today, the chances of that happening are like trying to fit an elephant through the eye of a needle. Well, give or take. This aligns with the same realities. And today, I think this is unrealistic after the statements from NATO leaders, after Trump's remarks, after the statements from the U.S. Secretary of Defense and many others. We are, after all, reasonable people. We can live in our own world, whether it’s a small, rosy one or some other, or we can proceed from what we actually see. Therefore, this is a highly unlikely process,” – explains Dmitry Razumkov.

Regarding the negotiations between Russia and the USA in Saudi Arabia and what will be offered to us afterward, the guest of the program notes that it is clear that ordinary people know nothing, but the President of Ukraine should have been aware of this, and even he does not know, which is a problem.
