“Russian troops in Syria should leave the country by February 2025 at the request of local authorities, which is very good. By the way, remember I mentioned that I still believe Russia will be forced to withdraw from Syria. In the end, this is good because it is losing influence, losing its base in the Mediterranean, losing image and reputation, and is disgracefully leaving Syria, being thrown out and expelled,” emphasizes Aleksandr Musienko.

As he reports, according to GUR, the Russian vessel “Sparta” broke down in open sea while attempting to evacuate troops and weapons from Syria due to engine failure, and the Russian crew is adrift in open waters near Portugal.

Furthermore, the expert adds, GUR indicates that the remnants of the Russian contingent in Syria have completed their withdrawal from remote areas and are only located in two places – Khmeimim and Tartus, with part of their weapons and equipment already taken from the port in Tartus.

“Well, this is a disgraceful exit. Finally, I hope the same will happen in the case of Ukraine, resulting in a dishonorable withdrawal of Russian troops. To bring this closer, let’s unite, let’s stand strong, support the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and help each other,” concludes Aleksandr Musienko.
