Recently, potential presidential candidates and party leaders have been in a frenzy during their election campaigns, as if they have lost their minds. Social media and the press are overflowing with political propaganda about volunteers and philanthropists who, using budget funds, are saving the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the common people. However, while the ZELENSKY team has faced significant backlash for their populism against the backdrop of grim and concerning military news, it is now the local bureaucrats and their petty kings who are beginning to face scrutiny. This is because it is time to adopt the LOCAL BUDGETS for 2025.

Let’s analyze the priorities of the Kyiv BUDGET project for 2025.

While the general public has yet to see or read it, the PR teams of Kyiv's authorities have already labeled it as a budget for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To say that this corresponds with reality is laughable. In the initial version of the budget project, officials allocated 547 million UAH for the "Defender of Kyiv" program out of a total budget of 90 billion UAH. However, after facing severe criticism from the opposition in the Kyiv City Council, the amount is now being reconsidered to a new figure of 2.5 billion UAH. And who has benefitted again? Certainly, the bureaucrats of our capital.

For the maintenance of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) apparatus, which includes 13 deputies of Klitschko, 444 million UAH has been earmarked, which is 27 million more than in 2023. Additionally, there is 477 million UAH allocated for the Kyiv City Council secretariat, amounting to nearly a billion solely for the top officials and their apparatus. And it gets even more astonishing:

Funding for pro-government media that promote the heroic activities of the authorities, whose leaders are often abroad, has increased by almost 17 million, reaching a historic high of 221 million 715,610 thousand UAH. Furthermore, more than 16 million UAH is allocated for PR under another expenditure item. In total, the PR department of "Klitschko's Strike" will receive a record 344,588 million UAH (up from 274 million in 2024).

But the so-called IMPROVEMENT during WAR is everything for them! Only one department for environmental management has proven the task of laying tiles and planting flowers at a cost of 1 billion 699 million UAH. If we add the expenditure items for improvement from two other departments, the total will exceed 2 billion UAH?! And the most profitable venture in Kyiv-2025 is the "management and supervision in the field of improvement and vehicle parking control." For this sacred endeavor, 230,088 million UAH has been allocated. The increase compared to 2024 is fantastic, as it was only 89 million. And you still thought that parking was about income rather than expenses!

For comparison, the budget for the energy-saving program during the mass shelling and power outages in the capital is... 25 million UAH!

Now, let’s discuss the maintenance of our "elite" – the bureaucracy of Kyiv.

Here I see that there is a complete consensus among Klitschko, his 13 deputies, and ALL parties of the Kyiv City Council regarding:

- the allocation of 720 million UAH for pre-election gifts from 120 deputies and salaries for their 360 assistants (this refers to a salary of about 25 thousand for each).

If the leaders of Kyiv are only increasing their expenditures for themselves and their apparatus, perhaps the thousand-strong army of district bureaucrats will be reduced?

Don’t hold your breath!

If in 2024 the expenses for maintaining the district state administration apparatus in Kyiv amounted to 110-120 million UAH for one administration, in 2025, 170-180 million UAH of taxpayers’ money is already allocated. In addition, about 2 billion UAH will be spent on the powers.

And do you still believe that the Kyiv budget project for 2025 is about WAR, and not about yet another kickback and the upcoming elections?

In conclusion, regarding yet another transport mega-project of the authorities: the construction of the road to the non-operational "Kyiv" airport (Zhulyany) is planned to continue at an additional cost of 1.474 billion UAH.

stop inserting photos of Klitschko and his striking comrades in military uniforms with a hundred bullets into all paid articles, as it is uncomfortable in front of real soldiers.
