The Kyiv Agricultural University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and the state enterprise "Center for Judicial Expertise and Expert Research" of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine will hold a large-scale representative Summit "Challenges of the Present": Expertise, Agribusiness, Science, and Innovations – 2025 on February 20, 2025, in Kyiv.

According to the event organizers, this Summit is not just an event, but a powerful platform for interaction among those willing to discuss and generate solutions for the development of Ukraine's agrarian sector. In times when every decision holds strategic significance, the "Challenges of the Present" Summit will be a place where experts, entrepreneurs, scientists, and partners can find new pathways to restore our country's agrarian sector.

This February Summit will serve as an effective venue for constructive dialogue, expression, and discussion of diverse opinions among representatives of the government, agrarians, scientists, processors, logisticians, and public sector presenters.

The core theme of the Summit is the prospects for the development of Ukraine's agrarian industry: where we are now and where we are headed. The event's program will consist of several discussion panels, speeches by esteemed participants of the agrarian market, and presentations from renowned industry experts.

The host of the "Challenges of the Present" Summit, television presenter, media expert, political analyst, and Honored Journalist of Ukraine, Serhiy Doyko, notes that moderating such important representative events, which the "Challenges of the Present" Summit will undoubtedly be, is an honor for any professional.

"Truth is born in discussions. Despite the extremely challenging situation in Ukraine, such measures must take place, as life goes on, and in preparation for Ukraine's recovery after our victory, we must be professionally ready and as prepared as possible today," emphasizes Serhiy Doyko.

The "Challenges of the Present" Summit will feature agribusiness holdings and farms; companies involved in grain storage and processing; traders and logisticians; suppliers of technologies, machinery, and innovative products; agrarian scientists, experts, government officials, and market specialists.

"This Summit will not only allow players in Ukraine's agrarian market to communicate with each other, but it will also be extremely beneficial for traders, logisticians, and those directly engaged in the cultivation and processing of agricultural products. New ideas and proposals will emerge. Specific positions will be voiced. The "Challenges of Today" Summit will facilitate discussions on innovative progressive solutions, as guests and scholars from abroad will join. The Summit will also identify problems related to the agrarian sector that can only be solved through a comprehensive approach," notes Inola Novikova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Vice-Rector of the Kyiv Agricultural University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

Additionally, according to her, the Summit will propose specific situations for consideration that can only be resolved through cooperation and will discuss and identify the most significant problems requiring immediate solutions (especially given the difficult situation currently faced by Ukraine's agrarian market). Issues related to the export and import of agricultural products will also be addressed, exploring ways to improve the situation and how practical solutions to existing problems in this area might look.

The Summit will be valuable for owners, top managers, and specialists in agribusiness, as well as companies engaged in the cultivation and processing of agricultural products.

The topics to be discussed during the Summit panels represent the most relevant and crucial areas that need to be addressed at this time. For example, analyzing the economic situation and prospects for the development of Ukraine's agrarian market, or financing the agrarian sector, including the specifics of loans for small and medium-sized agribusinesses. Additionally, energy efficiency and alternative energy sources that can be utilized in agribusiness will be discussed. The conversation will also cover international standards that agrarians must consider when entering international markets. An extraordinary panel of the Summit will focus on "Judicial Expertise in the Context of Agrarian Market Development," addressing the use of judicial expertise in agribusiness; issues related to compensation procedures for damages caused by Russia's military aggression; expert support for construction in the agrarian sector of the economy, and more.

Welcoming addresses from foreign expert-scholars are planned for the Summit. Many of them emphasize that it will be an honor to congratulate participants at this important event in Kyiv. For instance, lawyer, political strategist, board member of the international human rights agency West Support, and senior researcher at Claremont Lincoln University (California, USA) Yuriy Vanetyk states that he will be honored to "sincerely support Ukrainian figures in science, education, and the expert community who, despite the enormous current difficulties in Ukraine related to Russian aggression, continue to live, create, teach, learn, and develop."

The "Challenges of the Present" Summit is a platform that will provide opportunities for different teams, communities, and companies to interact, as well as a venue for everyone to express their views on how Ukraine can best move forward in the context of the development and recovery of the agrarian sector and agricultural market of Ukraine. The Summit will bring together those who care about the future of Ukraine and are committed to building and developing the country.

"This Summit is an important step towards consolidating the efforts of the scientific community, agribusiness, and experts in addressing the challenges facing present-day Ukraine. Such representative events facilitate the implementation of innovations and ensure dialogue among all stakeholders," concludes one of the organizers of the "Challenges of the Present" Summit, a well-known expert in Ukraine's construction sector, Doctor of Law, and President of Win Experts Group, Viktor Leshchynskyi.
