However, he reminds us that 700,000 civilians went to fight at the beginning of 2022, which cannot be said about those in government service, the state apparatus, and all officials, who, if counted together, would amount to a whole army.

“And for their mistakes (editor's note – the authorities) we are paying with our own resources, our own lives, because they have exemptions, they do not comply with the law on mobilization preparation and mobilization, have not transitioned the economy to a wartime footing, and have not restructured the system of government. Our law on mobilization preparation applies only to civilians, while for officials, it’s a rain of money. This is the system we are currently in. I say, for some, it’s war, for others, it’s like a mother,” emphasizes Sviatoslav Dubina.
