This is stated in a statement signed by the first deputy chairman of the party, Arthur Palatny, which was published on the UDAR website.

Subscribe"Ukrainians are ready to accept a 'historic tax increase' only for the sake of the Armed Forces and the security of the state, not for the populist amusements of the authorities. A sharp rise in taxes and the redirection of funds to 'populist' programs are irresponsible actions by the government in wartime. Ukrainians should not pay for populism! We are willing to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but we demand that every hryvnia, every tax, be clearly directed to the needs of the army and security, not to the whims of the authorities," said Arthur Palatny.
The statement notes that in a situation where the economy is barely surviving, such a serious step as raising taxes must be clearly justified by the needs of the army and security, rather than funding bloated bureaucratic budgets and dubious 'social' initiatives.
"The authorities are offering 1000 hryvnias to all Ukrainians, a national cashback, and temporary allowances, but these measures are merely PR stunts that cannot compensate for systemic problems in the economy and social sphere. The military tax has been raised to 5% for everyone except the military, while at the same time the authorities heroically announce that from January 1, they will increase teacher assistance by 1000 UAH. But in reality, this is a facade. The government first extracts funds from teachers' salaries by raising taxes, taking from one pocket and returning part to another," the statement reads.
"UDAR of Vitali Klitschko" is categorically against populist initiatives that do not address the real problems of Ukrainians but merely create the illusion of change and support.

Ukrainians deserve stability and decent living conditions, not short-term populist promises that do not lead to systemic changes. If we want to build a strong state, we need to restore the economy, support businesses, and not push them to the brink of destruction," emphasize those in "UDAR of Vitali Klitschko."
UDAR has also called on Ukrainians to spend the 'thousand of Zelensky' to support the Armed Forces.
"We urge all Ukrainians to donate the thousand of Zelensky to the Armed Forces. This is the best way to spend these funds. To a brigade, a battalion, a charitable foundation – your choice. Donate to someone you trust. Everything for Victory!" – emphasize those in "UDAR of Vitali Klitschko."
