She discussed this on the "Znai.ua" channel.

“There seems to be money, but at the same time, there isn’t. This often happens when we need to increase something. But let’s go through everything step by step. In one of her interviews, the Minister of Social Policy talked about social issues in our country, and from this interview, it became clear that while there seems to be money for social programs, there also seems to be a lack of it,” notes Ekaterina Kotenko.

As she explains, the state budget is formed separately, and the budget of the Pension Fund is created independently, meaning one can breathe a sigh of relief, but the insurance contributions do not go into the general budget; rather, they go into the Pension Fund budget for pension payments. However, the journalist points out that while the Pension Fund's budget is already around 700 billion a year, the unified social contribution amounts to only 2/3 of that, with nearly 300 billion coming from the state budget for subsidies.

“We already know that there is such a deficit in the budget. Everything that is earned goes to the army, and other expenses are covered by international aid. This year, spending on social protection has been reduced by 50 billion UAH compared to last year,” emphasizes Ekaterina Kotenko.

As Zholnovich stated, the journalist reports, these 290 billion in subsidies from the budget mostly go to payments, but, importantly, not to ordinary Ukrainians, but to judges, Chernobyl victims, and military personnel. Regarding how to solve the problem, she adds, Zholnovich does not provide any solutions, only claims that the predecessors who enacted these laws are to blame.

As reported by Znai.ua, Musiienko stated that the presence of British troops in Ukraine will serve as a deterrent for the Russian Federation.

Znai.ua also reported that Bortnik explained why Trump was so offended by Zelensky: "He advised him to tone it down".
