In Pesochin, two new boiler houses have been installed, and the regional administration plans to provide alternative heating for residents in two more settlements in Kharkiv region.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleg Sinegubov, as reported by "Dumka".
According to his information, two boiler houses with capacities of 5 and 2 MW have been installed in the Pesochin community. They will be used for backup heating of the community. During blackouts, such a boiler can provide heat for about 3000 people in apartment buildings. Additionally, it will support hospitals, locations of the State Emergency Service units, and primary healthcare centers.
"Thanks to state support, the region received a government subsidy, part of which – 500 million UAH – is allocated for the construction of gas boiler houses in three settlements: Pesochin, Solonitsovka, and Slobozhanske," Sinegubov reported.
In total, over 150,000 people in the region will have access to alternative heating.
