In Kharkiv region, a search was underway for a 13-year-old boy who did not return home.

Police in Kharkiv region quickly located and returned the missing boy to his mother.

This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to law enforcement, on January 18, a report was received at police station No. 1 of the Izium District Police Department regarding the disappearance of a 13-year-old boy. The informant stated that a 28-year-old resident from the village of Husarivka in the Izium district was visiting her. After a while, the guest decided to leave, and the boy went to see her off but did not return home and did not get in touch.

Juvenile police officers and personnel from police station No. 1 of the Izium District Police Department were engaged in the search for the child.

During operational search activities, police officers found the missing boy at his mother's friend's house, where he had asked to spend the night.

The boy was returned to his parents. The police conducted a preventive conversation with the family.
