In the Kharkiv region, a safe shelter is being constructed in the Pesochin community for 226 children and educators.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to Synegubov, the shelter also meets the requirements for inclusive spaces.

The shelter will operate autonomously, thanks to two centralized power sources and a generator. The building will be connected by safe passages to two sections of the facility.

The total cost of the project is 129 million UAH.

"Creating such shelters is a strategic task for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and a realization of President Volodymyr Zelensky's internal resilience plan under the points 'Safety' and 'Human Capital'," Synegubov stated.
