Over the course of a week, three incidents of intentional damage to automated access systems for shelters in high-rise buildings occurred in Kharkiv, resulting in a total of 15 such incidents since the beginning of the year.
This was reported by the Kharkiv City Council, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the city council, three cases of vandalism were recorded in Kharkiv, where automated access systems to basements were damaged during alarms in high-rise buildings. As per the data from the Utility Company "Engineering Networks", these systems are installed in over 500 buildings and provide quick access to shelters in case of danger.
One example was a case in the Saltivskyi district, where elements of electronic access were stolen.
