In Volchansk, Kharkiv region, the enemy, under the cover of aviation, launched assaults on the positions of Ukraine's defense forces.

This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the General Staff, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy shelled Volchansk and Volchansk Huts using aircraft. Additionally, the occupiers attempted to assault the positions of Ukraine's defense forces near Volchansk three times.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched attacks 13 times. Combat was ongoing in the areas of Stroeivka, Pyschany, Kolesnykivka, Zahryzovoe, Kutkivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, and Lozova. As of the evening, one engagement was still underway.
