In Kupiansk, approximately 6,500 people continue to endure constant shelling, living without heating for the third winter.

This was reported by the head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration, Andriy Konashevych, during a telethon, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to him, since 2 PM, the enemy has begun to intensively use aviation, and in the morning, Russian FPV drones were troubling the area. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Centralized heating has been absent since the moment of de-occupation. Before the invasion, around 100,000 people lived in five communities, and now only about 6,500 remain. Those who stayed have been enduring these conditions for the third winter.

In the three communities of the district located on the left bank, people have practically stopped leaving.

"Last Wednesday, we counted 1,580; today, it's 1,576. These people apparently decided to stay there permanently," Konashevych reported.
